    Description

    This 1971 cent shows nice doubling on all obverse lettering and the date.  Listed by the Cherrypicker's Guide as FS-101 and by CONECA as DDO-001, this example is lustrous brown in color with some red in the protected areas, and scattered ticks and hairlines.  It also shows the main die markers for the variety, including polishing lines all over the obverse and reverse and a slightly mis-aligned obverse die.  It has been graded AU53 by ANACS.
