Description

You are buying a tool that is used to help install the over run clutch piston on either a 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E or 4L65E transmission.
The tool is an improved version of the GM Kent-Moore tool, we have gone through several of the plastic ones last year so we decided to make them out of aluminum and have not had to replace it as of yet.
THIS SEAL HAS BEEN TESTED WITH BOTH THE ALUMINUM AND STAMPED / BONDED PISTONS.
IT WILL NOT FIT WITH THE CAST ALUMINUM PISTONS AND THEY WILL REQUIRE CLEARANCING.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, USE THE BONDED PISTONS DURING YOUR NEXT REBUILD AND AVOID A COSTLY RETURN!
It is very simple to use:
Lubricate the installer
Simply slide the protector over the input housing
Install the forward clutch piston assembly (the newer stamped / bonded piston is shown - it will work on both versions)
Remove the seal protector from the housing
This tool is very thin wall and would be damaged if dropped or rough handled, please use care in storage and use.
